The Good Shepherd Allegan County Fair Booth
Serving up a slice of Heaven for give or take a hundred years - the Fair Booth is the cornerstone of our seasonal outreach ministries. Some people ask, “why is a concession stand a ministry?”, quite simply put, we have always maintained that it is important that there be both a peaceful and family-friendly area for people to relax at the fair away from the hustle and bustle of the main drag; while also offering affordable food for families and those in need at what is truly the main event venue for entertainment in our part of the state.
We are also fortunate to have a great linage of bakers and cooks in the parish, and they have shared their talents and recipes over the years to create a well balanced menu that can be offered to the public that is easy for us to serve up and is enjoyed by thousands each year.
Not only that, but by offering this place we have allowed so much positive interaction and support to flow both in and out of the parish and in doing so have further been able to serve our neighbors and share the Good News of Christ in doing so.

We say “give or take a hundred years”… well thats because we truly lost count. We’re still not sure who thought selling pies and pulled pork sandwiches was considered a church ministry; but we're glad they did.

Everyone still asks for “Mary-Ann’s Chili”…

Everyone wants to know about the pies. Be honest, that’s why you visited this page…
