Lenten Services
Shrovetide, Lent, and Passiontide...
Weekday Services
Shrovetide, Lent, and Passiontide, are the three seasons leading up to Easter in the Christian Liturgical Calendar. Shrovetide is the three weeks ahead of Ash Wednesday (this year falling on the 18th of February); Lent is the forty days ahead of Palm Sunday, and is a time of fasting and penance; and Passiontide is the name given to the last week of lent and Holy Week (ahead of Good Friday and Easter).
In this time we will have a number of services, times for reflection, christian formation, education, and fellowship available at Good Shepherd. The details of which will be made available here and on our Facebook and Instagram pages. If you have further questions feels free to contact us.
If you would like to know more about how we worship at Good Shepherd you can learn more here.
